Application: Dialer Vault - Secret Photo Locker (com.operantix.dialervault)
Privacy Summary at a Glance
- Zero Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, share, or monetize your private media, files, or sensitive information.
- Local AES-256 Hardware Encryption: All photos, videos, and documents placed into the vault are encrypted locally on your physical device.
- Disguised Functionality: The application functions as an actual telephone dialer interface while securing an encrypted compartment unlocked exclusively by your secret dialer PIN code.
1. Introduction & Overview
Operantix Studio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the mobile application Dialer Vault - Secret Photo Locker (package ID: com.operantix.dialervault). We prioritize user privacy, data independence, and cryptographic security.
This Privacy Policy explains how our software interacts with your device, why specific permissions are requested, and how your data remains completely under your personal control.
2. Device Permissions & How They Are Used
To deliver security vault encryption alongside realistic phone dialer disguises, our app requests the following Android permissions:
Purpose: Allows the user to select photos, videos, audio recordings, or documents to import into the encrypted vault (stored under .Operanphone), and to export/restore decrypted files back to the public gallery when desired. We do not inspect, upload, or process any files outside those explicitly chosen by you.
Purpose: Required for the functional dialer disguise. When dialing normal numbers, the app launches system phone calls or displays recent dial history within the dialer interface so that casual observers cannot detect the vault’s existence. Call logs are stored locally and are never transmitted to external analytics or advertisers.
Purpose: Used strictly for the optional Intruder Break-In Detection feature. If enabled by the user, entering an incorrect PIN triggers a silent front-facing snapshot stored locally inside the vault so you can review unauthorized access attempts.
Purpose: Used solely to check for verified application updates from our servers and to facilitate optional user-initiated cloud backup via Google Firebase authentication.
3. Cryptographic Security & Local Processing
Dialer Vault utilizes industry-standard AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption managed through Android's hardware-backed Jetpack Security Keystore. When files are imported:
- Files are scrambled with unique cryptographic initialization vectors.
- Encrypted blobs are saved with a
.nomediaflag, preventing standard gallery indexers from reading them. - Your master PIN is hashed and never stored in plain text.
4. Third-Party Libraries & Services
Our app contains minimal external dependencies designed to prioritize device independence:
- Google Play Services / Firebase: For optional Google sign-in and encrypted cloud sync (if explicitly configured by the user).
- AndroidX Jetpack: UI components, media transformer, and local cryptographic libraries.
- We do not include any invasive ad tracking networks, social trackers, or behavioral data brokers.
5. Data Deletion & User Control
You hold absolute ownership of your data at all times:
- Permanent Shredding: Using the in-app Recycle Bin or shredding tools immediately and irrevocably wipes the encrypted file from storage.
- App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the application removes the cryptographic keys and app-specific caches.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)
Dialer Vault is a general audience utility and does not knowingly solicit or collect personal identification information from children under 13 (or under the age of 16 in the European Union).
